The Opening Plenary by Don Tapscott, Author, Speaker and Advisor on Media Technology and Innovation, set the tone of the three day event and inspired fellow fundraisers to raise the bar in their fundraising activity, to focus on the evolution of fundraising and how it can be pushed to the next level. Congress 2012 proved to be a great source of information that nonprofit fundraising professionals can apply immediately in the end-of-year fundraising push and can equally be applied throughout 2013. Fundraising will continue to evolve and be more focused on the individual donor and how we communicate with them.
